Brian has been a firefighter for 30 years, instructor for 25 years and Fire Training Coordinator at Riverland for 17 years. He is married to Wanda and has three daughters: Brooke (16) Kaitlyn (14) and Maddie (10).
Brian was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, Mucinous Adenocarcinoma that originated in the appendix and spread throughout his abdomen. It is a very rare type of cancer. He has been having chemo treatments every 2 weeks. The last week in July they will do another PET scan and biopsy to determine the next course of action.
